OPP investigating break and enters, thefts in North Frontenac Township

Sharbot Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is informing the public of several recent break and enters and thefts that occurred in the North Frontenac Township area.
According to a release from the OPP, the break and enters, theft of trailers, All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) and mischief to property centre around seasonal cottages. The OPP has identified persons of interest.
OPP said that the investigations are continuing with the assistance of Napanee OPP Detachment, OPP Scenes of Crime Officers (SOCO), OPP’s Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and the East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).
The OPP reminds the public to ensure that their property and vehicles are securely locked up. Police also recommend photographing, labeling and recording serial numbers of their property.
Police would like to hear from any witnesses that may have any information in relation to these occurrences by calling Sharbot Lake OPP or Frontenac OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
