LOCATED: OPP asking for assistance to locate missing person
UPDATE: OPP now confirm that Michael MacDonald was found, safe and sound, on the evening of Sunday, July 24. OPP say they would like to thank the public for their assistance with sharing information.

ORIGINAL: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the public’s assistance to locate a man missing from the Stone Mills area.
According to OPP, Michael MacDonald, 73 years old, was last seen by family members on Saturday, July 23, 2022.
OPP say he left his residence on Moscow Rd in Stone Mills Township, just outside of Yarker, on foot and did not return.
According to Acting Sergeant Erin Cranton, the East Region Media Relations Coordinator, members of the Lennox and Addington Detachment have had a major search underway since Saturday. “[The search involves] members of the L&A Detachment, the OPP Emergency Response Team and OPP Aviation Unit, [and] specially trained civilians with the Ontario Search and Rescue Volunteer Association,” Cranton explained.
OPP’s Search & Rescue helicopter could be seen searching the areas between Odessa and Stone Mills, and along the 401 corridor, through Sunday morning and afternoon.
The OPP is asking residents of the area to check their backyards, sheds and other outbuildings, as well as checking video from any residential security cameras they may have.
He is described by OPP as 5’10” tall and weighing 150lbs, with a slim build.
OPP say he has straight, short combed grey hair, a clear complexion, clean appearance, and blue eyes with glasses.
According to OPP, he was wearing a light brown/gold flannel plaid long sleeve shirt, green or blue undershirt, faded blue jeans, and brown suede shoes at the time of his disappearance.
OPP also say he has the distinguishing features of a scar on the left side of his mouth. According to OPP, he tends to walk quickly.
