OPP arrest three for driving while impaired

Lennox and Addington OPP have charged three people with impaired driving during three separate incidents over the last week.
On Saturday, Mar 13, 2021, officers approached a vehicle stopped on Highway 33 (Bath Road) near Coronation Boulevard that was blocking the road.
“Police arrived on scene and determined that the driver was showing signs of impairment. The driver was subsequently arrested and taken to Detachment for further testing,” an OPP news release stated.
Police have charged 47-year-old Tera Breckenridge of Kingston with impaired driving and refusing to provide a sample.
Then, on Wednesday, Mar. 17, 2021 at approximately 7 p.m. officers pulled over a ‘heavily damaged’ vehicle near the County Road 6 off-ramp of west-bound Highway 401.
“Officers determined that the driver was showing signs of impairment. An Approved Screening Device (ASD) was administered and the driver was subsequently arrested and transported to detachment for processing. Police seized Cannabis and suspected Cocaine,” an OPP news release stated.
22-year-old Owen Daniel McKernan of Toronto was charged with two counts of operating while impaired, and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
Finally, later on the night of March 17, police pulled over and charged Joseph Nicholas Auriemma of Loyalist Township with two counts of driving while impaired.
