OPP arrest and charge impaired driver in Greater Napanee

At approximately 11: 30 p.m. on Thursday Dec. 10, 2020, officers of the Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on County Road 1 west, in Greater Napanee.
According to a report from the OPP dated Friday Dec. 11, 2020, the driver was showing signs of impairment. The OPP officers subsequently arrested and transported the driver to L&A County OPP detachment for further testing.
Christina Michelle Weselake, age 46, of Stone Mills Township has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, and;
- Operating a motor vehicle while over legal blood alcohol limit
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee in February 2021. Her licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. Weselake will be responsible for all related fees and fines.
