On-street parking ban in effect in the City of Kingston tonight

In keeping with the new pilot project for winter parking restrictions which came into effect on Mar. 1, 2022, the City of Kingston has issued a release informing residents that the on-street parking ban has been implemented for tonight, Friday, Mar. 11, 2022, due to the forecasted weather. 

While the ban is in place parking on all City streets is prohibited between the hours of 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. and from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. on the streets that surround Kingston General Hospital, the City said in a media release on the same date. 

The ban will remain in place until the City deems it no longer necessary. When the ban is revoked, notice will be posted on our website and social media. Please check CityofKingston.ca/WinterParking for updates and more information.
