Napanee community ‘crams the cruiser’ with over 1,000lbs of food donations

The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Auxiliary held a successful “Cram the Cruiser” food drive in Greater Napanee this past weekend.

The “Cram the Cruiser” food drive took place at both the Metro and the Giant Tiger in Greater Napanee on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021. According to a release from the OPP, the community generously donated $1,725 in cash and 1,150 lbs of food for the Morningstar Mission and Salvation Army.  The food was delivered with the support of the Greater Napanee Public Works Department to the Morningstar Mission. 

The L&A County OPP Auxiliary, Morningstar Mission, Metro, Giant Tiger and L&A County OPP would like to thank everyone in our community for donating to help those in need.
