Multiple firearms stolen during break-in at Central Frontenac residence

The Frontenac County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is appealing to the public following the theft of multiple firearms and weapons from a home located in Central Frontenac Township.
According to the OPP, the theft occurred as part of a residential break and enter. Police were called to the residence on Highway 7, west of Highway 38, on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, after the break in had occurred. There, officers learned that, sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. that day, an unknown person (or multiple people) entered the residence. While inside the residence, the suspect(s) stole “multiple long guns, ammunition, multiple crossbows, cash, and identification cards.
Now, police are asking for public assistance as their investigation continues. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Frontenac OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or to submit a report online at www.opp.ca/reporting. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), callers with information may be eligible to receive a cash reward.
