Motorcyclist perishes from injuries sustained in crash

A motorcyclist who sustained serious injuries after a crash on Leveque Road in South Frontenac has died, family members confirm.
Bailey Green suffered the life-threatening injuries, including burns to most of his body, after crashing into a tree shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29.
Following the crash, a container containing an accelerant that Green had been carrying in his backpack burst and ignited.
He was transported to hospital by OPP-escorted EMS but perished from his injuries in hospital. He was 22 years old.
OPP are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash and are asking any witnesses of the incident to contact them at 613-372-1932.
