As of 2 p.m. on Friday, Utilities Kingston is reporting an outage for over 4,700 clients, which is centred around the Kingscourt and Rideau Heights neighbourhoods. The estimated time of power restoration for that outage is 6:45 p.m., according to Utilities Kingston.

Hydro One is not reporting any outages as of 2 p.m. Flooding of roadways and parking lots is also beginning to be reported throughout the city.

Kingstonist will endeavour to keep the community updated on power outages throughout the storm, however, with crews expected to be out tending to issues throughout the storm, the fastest way for those in Kingston and the area to monitor power outages, and find the latest estimates on when power will be restored when they occur, is through the outage maps maintained by the utilities providers.
