Missing woman located

Thanks to some observant employees at Queen’s University, the 74-year-old woman reported missing on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018 has been located and now safe, according to Kingston Police.

Linda Collinson was reported missing yesterday and was reportedly last seen on Saturday, Dec. 15 in the area of Kingston General Hospital.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, staff at a facility on Queen’s Campus located an elderly woman and contacted Queen’s Emergency Report Center. Those at the Emergency Report Centre thought that the woman matched the description given of Collinson, and dispatched Queen’s Security, who confirmed her identity and contacted Kingston Police. Collinson is now safe, Kingston Police said.
