Update: LOCATED — OPP seek assistance to locate missing man last seen in Harrowsmith

UPDATE (Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020): At 2:30 p.m. on Thursday October 22, 2020 Frontenac OPP received confirmation from the family Wayne has returned home safely.

The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a report of a missing person last seen in Harrowsmith in South Frontenac Township.

OPP are requesting public assistance to locate a 56-year-old male, Wayne Bierkos, who was last seen on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020, shortly before 11 p.m.

Wayne is described as:

• White male
• 56 years old
• Short blond hair
• 180 cm (5′ 11″) tall
• 84 kg (185 lbs)

Wayne was wearing a green ball cap, bright orange winter coat and grey pants and was last seen walking on Road 38 in Harrowsmith, OPP said in a release dated Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020. 

The OPP has concerns for his well-being and anyone with information is asked to immediately call 1-888-310-1122.
