As students are preparing to head back to campus this fall, St. Lawrence College (SLC) is welcoming a return to in-person classes and on-campus activities.

According to a media release, SLC’s campuses will be mask-optional, and while the College encourages people to be vaccinated at the recommended frequency, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will not be required for those coming on campus for orientation on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and the first day of classes on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022.

SLC said that they are also excited about their varsity athletics calendar, and information about Surge team schedules can be found here.

“SLC is open, and we are looking forward to a terrific fall semester,” said Glenn Vollebregt, SLC President and CEO. “As we have done since March 2020, if public health and provincial requirements change, we will adjust our plans. We strongly encourage folks to be vaccinated at the recommended frequency and remind folks that SLC is a mask-optional community, where anyone wishing to wear a mask is welcome to do so.”
