Maple syrup fundraiser to support programs for adults with developmental disabilities

Maple syrup lovers can now support a local non-profit when purchasing their sweet indulgence this spring, thanks to a fundraiser at New Leaf Link.

New Leaf Link, a dedicated organization providing essential day programs for adults with developmental disabilities, has announced its Maple Syrup Fundraiser, which aims to raise crucial funds to support its programs while offering the community an opportunity to enjoy high-quality maple syrup.

According to a release from the organization, New Leaf Link’s Maple Syrup Fundraiser features pure, locally sourced maple syrup.

The following sizes are available:

  • 1 litre jugs for $22
  • 2 litre jugs for $38
  • 4 litre jugs for $70

New Leaf Link noted that the syrup is produced with care and dedication, reflecting the organization’s commitment to quality and community support.

Individuals interested in purchasing maple syrup and contributing to New Leaf Link’s cause are encouraged to place their orders by Sunday, Mar. 24, 2024. To order, email [email protected] with your preferred quantity and contact information.

According to the release, orders can be picked up in Kingston or South Frontenac on Saturday, March 30, 2024, allowing supporters to collect their syrup and contribute to a worthy cause simultaneously.

New Leaf Link expressed that those participating in the Maple Syrup Fundraiser, not only get to enjoy delicious local maple syrup but also “contribute to creating a more inclusive and supportive community for adults with developmental disabilities.”
