Man punched, kicked, pulled hair in attack on roommate

A 30-year-old Kingston man has been arrested and charged after he lost his temper and attacked his roommate for nearly no reason.
On Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, the man was allegedly upset that his computer wasn’t working properly. The victim, his female roommate, made a comment about how he treated the computer, and the accused man lunged at the victim and attacked her. The man had allegedly been drinking.
The man grabbed the victim’s hair and began punching her. When the victim curled up in a ball to protect herself, the man began kicking her. The victim was able to escape to her bedroom where she called for help while the accused man punched a hole in her door.
Responding officers located the accused male and arrested him while the victim went to hospital for treatment of her injuries, according to a press release from Kingston Police.
The local man is charged with assault.
