Napanee man charged with impaired driving after collision with house in Stone Mills

A Greater Napanee man is facing charges after his impaired driving resulted in a collision in Stone Mills Township.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020, the Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to Lake Road in Stone Mills Township where a vehicle had crashed into a house. According to the OPP, no one was injured in the collision.
As a result of the ensuing investigation, L&A County OPP arrested Eric Thomas Pringle, 52, of Greater Napanee, who was found to be driving while under the influence of both alcohol and drugs. He has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, and
- Operating a motor vehicle while over legal blood alcohol limit
Pringle was released on an undertaking. OPP say his license was suspended for 90 days, and he will face a one-year suspension if convicted. Additionally, the vehicle was impounded for seven days, and Pringle will be responsible for all related fees and fines.
