Update: Arrested – Male and female wanted after violent robbery

Update (Wednesday, May 20, 2020): According to Kingston Police, on the evening of Monday, May 18, 2020, Eli Vanheddegen, 39, and Gwendalyn Kerr, 31, were located and arrested.
As a result, Vanheddegem was charged with:
- Robbery
- Aggravated assault
- Possession of a weapon dangerous to the public
- breach of probation
Kerr was charged with:
- Robbery
- Aggravated assault
- Possession of a weapon dangerous to the public

Kingston Police are searching for two individuals following a violent robbery and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating them.
Police say that the robbery occurred at a Division Street address in the early morning hours of May 10, 2020. A Kingston Police investigation identified Nina Gwendalyn Kerr, a 31 year old female, Robert Eli Vanheddegem, a 39 year old male, and Joshua Robert Scott, a 29 year old male, as allegedly responsible for committing the robbery. As a result, they are wanted for the alleged offences of Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and being in possession of a weapon dangerous to the public. Additionally, Vanheddegem was found to be allegedly breaching a condition of his Probation Order. While the exact nature of the weapon was not disclosed, Kingston Police confirmed that the weapon used in this offence was not a firearm.
On May 11, 2020 Scott was arrested, charged with the above offences, and subsequently held for a bail hearing.
Kerr and Vanheddegem have yet to be located and a warrant for their arrest has been issued. Kingston Police say these individuals should be considered dangerous.
