Local businesses recognized at 2023 Kingston Business Awards

The winners of the 2023 Kingston Business Awards, presented by title sponsor MNP LLP and organized by the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce, were presented with their awards on the evening of Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts.

As previously reported, the Kingston Business Awards “represent a continued evolution” of the Business Excellence Awards which were last held in Fall 2022, according to the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce.

“We are thrilled to recognize exemplary models of excellence and community service by businesses and leaders in the greater Kingston area, and the invaluable contribution they make to Kingston’s economic development, unique character, and outstanding quality of life,” said Karen Cross, Chief Executive Officer, Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce. “Congratulations to all of our recipients, and thank you to the sponsors, awards committee members, judges, and many local businesses who have helped make this event a possibility.”

According to a media release, winners were decided by a volunteer committee of judges from other Chambers of Commerce across Canada, and the awards event itself was organized by Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce staff with assistance from the Chamber’s volunteer Kingston Business Awards Committee.
