Lionhearts to get ‘fuelled up’ this May with donation matching
Throughout the month of May, one-time donations to Lionhearts Inc. will be matched by the estate of Robert W. Clark, up to $50,000.
In 2021, the Lionhearts team delivered $4.1 million worth of food and goods to local food-providing agencies throughout the Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington area, according to a release from the organization.

Delivering this food, and fuelling hungry bellies across the KFL&A region, is accomplished because of the ongoing generosity of the communities and volunteers that drive the Lionhearts vans every single day of the year. Lionhearts said that keeping people fuelled is a big job, and with soaring gas prices, keeping vehicles fuelled is also a big job!
That’s why Lionhearts Inc. is pleased to announce a donation matching program of $50,000 by estate of Robert W. Clark for the entire month of May, according to the release.
“We want to extend a big thank you to the Robert W. Clark estate for their generosity and partnership in matching every one-time donation this month,” said Travis Blackmore, Executive Director of Lionhearts Inc. “We’re also thankful for everyone who helps us to keep our vans on the road, whether that’s by driving them, filling them with food, or filling them with gas. We expect the vans will be even busier this year thanks to the recently opened Community Food Redistribution Warehouse, and we’re hoping the community can help us fuel the vans as we fuel hope locally.”
