LaSalle Causeway will be closed to motorists this weekend

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has added a full closure of the LaSalle Causeway over the weekend to yesterday’s announcement of alternating lane closures.
This second release, delivered through the City of Kingston, advises motorists of a full closure of the LaSalle Causeway for repair work from Saturday, August 14, at 12 a.m. to Monday, August 16, at 6 a.m.
During this period, all lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions. The bridge will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists, and marine traffic will not be affected.
“Public Services and Procurement Canada encourages users to exercise caution when travelling on the bridge and thanks them for their patience,” PSPC said in a press release on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021.
