Lane closures to take place tomorrow on LaSalle Causeway

Those who traverse the LaSalle Causeway daily should expect some delays as lane closures are scheduled to take place tomorrow on the bridge.

According to Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), lane closures will take place on the LaSalle Causeway on Friday, Dec. 20, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The closures will take place to allow for repair work to be done to the bridge.

During the closures, one lane will remain open in both directions, with two flagpersons on site to control traffic. There will be no impact to cyclists, pedestrians, or marine traffic.

PSPC encourages those using the Causeway to exercise caution when travelling on the bridge, and advises that the schedule may chance depending on weather conditions.
