Update: located – L&A OPP seek assistance locating missing man

Update (Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022 at 3:20 p.m.):
According to the Lennox and Addington (L&A) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), 45-year-old Jamie Ellicot has been located safely.

Ellicott had previously been reported missing and last seen at approximately 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022.

“OPP would like to thank everyone who shared the appeal for assistance or provided any information,” the OPP said on social media just after 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022.

The Lennox and Addington (L&A) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have released the above photo (now removed) and are asking for public assistance to locate the man pictured, 45-year-old Jamie Ellicott.

According to police, Ellicott was last seen near County Road 5 in Greater Napanee at approximately 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022. He was wearing a green John Deere jacket and baseball cap at the time he was last seen, and, according to his friends, Ellicott is believed to be driving a red Nissan pickup truck with licence plate AH 29925.

Ellicott is described as being a Caucasian male standing 5’6” (167.64 cm) and weighing 120 lbs (54.4 kg), with short blond hair, blue eyes, and an unshaven beard.

Anyone who has had contact with Ellicott or who may have information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
