L&A County CAO elected Treasurer of National Municipal Administrators’ Association

Lennox and Addington County announced today that Brenda Orchard, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the County, was elected Treasurer of the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators (CAMA) during the Association’s Annual General Meeting held virtually on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.  

According to a media release, Brenda has been the Chief Administrative Officer of the County of Lennox and Addington since 2017 and has served as the CAMA Representative for the Province of Ontario for the past four years. 

CAMA is a non-profit association open to all senior managers dedicated to improving municipalities across Canada. According to the release, CAMA’s primary role is to champion excellence in municipal administration by providing its members with opportunities to grow and develop their personal knowledge and skills in best serving the public; and to assist members with building a culture of service within their municipal corporations.

“Brenda’s devotion to her job and her concern for municipalities at all levels shows not only throughout our County, but across the nation,” said past Warden Marg Isbester. “Thank you, Brenda, for your dedication.”
