Kingstonian celebrates 110th birthday

Over this past weekend, one of Kingston’s few centenarians became a supercentenarian as Margaret Cruickshank marked her 110th birthday on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019.

Born in 1909, Cruickshank celebrated the milestone the following day at St. George’s Cathedral, surrounded by family, friends, and fellow parishioners. Criuckshank has attended St. George’s Cathedral for the past 105 years, so church officials and parishioners alike were happy to be part of her big day.
