Kingston woman charged after OPP execute search warrant

The Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Lennox and Addington County (L&A) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person in connection with a possible theft from an Amherstview business.
On Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at approximately 6:30 p.m., officers were contacted about a possible theft of narcotics from a business in Amherstview, according to a release from the OPP.
As part of the investigation, a search warrant was executed the following day, Thursday, May 19, 2022, at an address on Horizon Drive in Kingston, and nearly 200 suspected hydromorphone pills, almost 40 suspected hydromorphone vials, more than 200 suspected oxycodone pills, and almost 50 suspected lorazepam pills were seized, OPP said.
Jessica Hannah, 40 years old, of Kingston, Ontario, was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – other drugs – Two Counts
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Hannah was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee in July 2022.
