Kingston road closures and traffic delays, Sept 9-14 2019

The following is a selection of the most significant road closures and expected traffic delays in and around the city of Kingston for the week of Sept 9-14. Full lists of closures and delays provided by the City of Kingston and the MTO can be viewed here and here.

Highway 15 will be closed every night at the 401 WB on-ramp from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for paving work.

Donald St will be closed from Dalgleish to Gore on Sept 9 between 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for paving.

Ontario St will be closed from Market to Brock St on Sept 9th from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the Multicultural Arts Festival.

The entrance/exit onto Point St Mark Dr remains closed until the end of the Third Crossing construction.

Lane restrictions at Bath and Days may cause delays while Utilities Kingston crews reline a water main.

Delays will continue on John Counter Boulevard from Princess to Indian while crews construct a new four-lane road and rail overpass.

Just west of Kingston, Highway 33 will have alternating single lane closures between Norfolk Lane and Bayview Dr, from Sept 9 to Sept 13, for road construction.

The 401 EB and WB off- and on-ramps at Shannonville will also experience intermittent closures as recurring construction occurs on the 401 EB from Sept 9 to Sept 12.
