A new Strategic Plan is being developed by the Kingston Police Services Board. With public input, the board will establish the direction of policing in the City of Kingston over the next four years.

“We believe your input is essential in creating a plan that is reflective of the needs, values and expectations of our community, as well as achievable and affordable,” Kingston Police said.

The survey is open until Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022, and Kingston Police invite all community members to participate. According to Kingston Police, the responses to this survey will establish the overall direction for policing for the next four years, by establishing strategic outcomes to be achieved and identifying how progress will be measured.

To share your thoughts on the development of the Strategic Plan, please participate in the Community Survey.

Kingston Police said that responses will remain confidential and anonymous. “Information from the questions will be used only in aggregate with other responses to develop an overall picture of the input received,” they stated.

Interested participants who require a paper copy of the survey are asked to contact the Board Secretary at 613-549-4660 ext. 2291.
