Kingston resident facing charges after break and enter in Picton

One individual was arrested and a second individual fled the scene of a break and enter on Inkerman Avenue in Picton. Ontario Provincial Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to get in contact with them.
On Thursday, Jun. 10, 2021, the Prince Edward County Detachment of the OPP received a report of a break and enter in progress at an address on Inkerman Avenue in Picton, Ontario, according to a release dated Friday, Jun. 11, 2021. Officers were assisted by the East Region Emergency Response Team as well as the East Region Canine Unit. OPP said one individual was arrested and one individual fled the scene.
Robyn Kennedy, 38 years of age from Kingston, was charged with the following:
- Break and enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence – two counts
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Theft under $5000
Kennedy was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on July 28, 2021.
