Kingston Police seeking public assistance to identify suspicious male

Kingston Police have released the above images and are asking for the public’s assistance to identify a suspicious male who entered a north end backyard.

At approximately 8:53 a.m. on Tuesday, Jul. 6, 2021, a suspicious male was captured on video outside the residence of a house located in Kingston’s north end. According to a release from Kingston Police, the suspicious male had arrived in a red hatchback and parked in the homeowner’s driveway shortly after they had left their residence and property.

He was then observed on security video entering through the backyard gate before peering through the garage windows. Within a few minutes the suspicious male left the property, according to police. This male was unknown to the homeowner who indicated that there would be no reason for him to be on their property.

The suspicious male is described as Caucasian, with a medium/stocky build, and short hair. He was wearing glasses, a light blue face mask, and a blue t-shirt and blue pants. Although the licence plate was obscured the suspicious male was driving a newer model red Hyundai Kona with identifiable wheels and front fascia.
