Kingston Police seeking information regarding theft in Kingscourt area
Kingston Police are asking for public assistance identifying a male suspect who was captured on video stealing items from a vehicle.
At approximately 4:25 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, the male suspect was captured on security video in a residential neighbourhood in the area of Kingscourt Avenue and Concession Street in downtown Kingston, according to a report from Kingston Police, dated Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020. Police say the suspect entered a vehicle and stole tools including a circular saw and a jigsaw. It is believed that a black and white short haired dog, possibly a Staffordshire terrier breed, was in the company of the male suspect at the time of the theft.
The male suspect is described as Caucasian, with a medium build and short brown hair. According to police he was wearing a blue jacket or sweater, black pants, and a green/grey oversized backpack.
