Kingston Police seeking information about shooting on Alfred Street

Kingston Police are seeking information in regards to a shooting that took place in the area of the 500 block of Alfred Street on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021.

At approximately 9:20 p.m. police responded to the area after information was received that a male victim had been shot at this location. Upon arrival, officers tended to the victim until Frontenac Paramedics arrived at the scene and subsequently transported him to Kingston General Hospital with serious injuries, according to a release from Kingston Police, dated Monday, Aug. 30, 2021.

Further investigation by police found that an orange-coloured, four-door motor vehicle with a sunroof, pictured above, had been seen fleeing from the scene at the time of the incident and had last been observed travelling westbound on Concession Street before possibly turning south onto MacDonnell Street, according to the release.
