Kingston Police have released a photo and video footage of a suspect who stole property from a building in the 300 block of Princess Street in downtown Kingston.

At approximately 2 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, the suspect was captured on security video inside the building where they removed a brown box from inside the building. According to a release from Kingston Police, the box was later revealed to be property belonging to the building.

The suspect, who police describe as possibly a male, appears to be Caucasian and was wearing a bright blue winter jacket with a dark hood pulled up over a baseball cap. The suspect was also wearing light grey pants, dark coloured footwear, and a medical mask which covered their mouth and nose, therefore obscuring their face, according to the release.
