Kingston police seek to locate suspect who ‘brandished a gun’ at youth



Kingston Police have released the above images and are requesting public assistance in identifying and locating the male pictured, a suspect involved in a weapons offence.
According to police, at approximately 11 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, the suspect approached a youth outside of a convenience store in the 1100 block of Division Street. The suspect “brandished a gun while speaking obscenities,” police said.
“The youth was able to quickly leave the area unharmed and the suspect was last seen running toward the shopping plaza located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Division Street and Benson Street,” Kingston Police said in a press release on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, noting that the suspect was not known to the youth.
Police described the suspect as being Caucasian, with a slim build and short, brown hair. He was wearing glasses at the time of the incident, and has a tattoo of a bearded man with a fedora/cowboy hat on the back of his right forearm, according to Kingston Police. The suspect was wearing a grey hoodie with black shoulders, and a green baseball hat during the interaction, as well as wearing a blue/black/white backpack with black shoulder straps.
