Kingston Police seek public assistance regarding two separate vehicle thefts

A 2009 Jeep Patriot, like the one on the left, and a 2003 Nissan Murano, like the one on the right, were each stolen in separate car thefts over the past two months.

Police are asking the public to be on the lookout or share any information they might have with regard to two different vehicle thefts which took place in Kingston over the past two months.

The first vehicle was stolen out of the driveway of a rural address north of Highway 401 in the City of Kingston between Saturday, Jan. 5 and Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019. The vehicle is described as a 2003 black Nissan Murano with licence plate number BZBC074.

The second vehicle, an SUV, was stolen out of a driveway in midtown Kingston between Friday, Feb. 22 at 11 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at 7:45 a.m. That vehicle is described as a 2009 white Jeep Patriot with licence plate # CDXJ456. The Jeep has tinted windows and stickers that say ‘True North’ on both sides near the wheel wells.
