Kingston Police seek public assistance after officer injured at Aberdeen Street party

A Kingston Police officer was injured by a thrown bottle at a large gathering on Aberdeen St on Saturday, Mar. 19, 2022.

Kingston police are continuing to investigate an incident in which one of their officers was struck in the head and injured by a drink container while in the execution of her duties at a post-St Patrick’s Day party on Saturday.

“The incident took place on March 19, 2022 at 2:18 p.m. in the area of Aberdeen Street near Johnson Street, and the suspect is not known at this time,” said Media Relations Officer Constable Ash Gutheinz in a press release. “The officer was subsequently transported to Kingston General Hospital to have her open head wound treated.”
