Kingston Police seek information on suspect wanted on 21 offences

Kingston Police have released the above image and are asking for the public for any information that could lead to the safe arrest of a wanted local individual.

According to a release from Kingston Police, on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024, members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit were actively involved in an apprehension investigation regarding a male wanted on 21 Criminal Code offences including robbery, assault with a weapon, and possession of a firearm.

Police said that, on that date, investigators located a stolen pickup truck in the area of Princess Street and Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard, which was believed to be transporting the wanted party.

As reported by Kingstonist, the Ontario Provincial Police received information about the stolen vehicle from Kingston Police, and all three occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody in the Town of Napanee. However, Kingston Police reported that the wanted male was not located within the vehicle and remains outstanding.

Wanted is Adam Young, 37 years of age, of Kingston. Police said that Young has numerous prior criminal convictions and has demonstrated dangerous behaviour. Citizens are cautioned not to approach this male and to immediately contact Kingston Police at 613-549-4660 if he is observed.
