According to police, the break and enter occurred on Saturday, Jul. 17, 2021, sometimes between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. The victim, who had been sleeping in an upstairs bedroom, returned to the main floor of the residence to find that her purse and its contents had been stolen from where they had been left in the living room.
Police said it is unknown how entry was gained to the residence, however, an exterior entrance to the home may have been left unlocked. The stolen purse contained Canadian currency, bank cards, and other personal items.
