Update: Located – Kingston Police seek assistance to locate missing female teen

Just hours after issuing a press release requesting public assistance to locate Mya Hartwick, a local missing youth, Kingston Police have confirmed the 14-year-old has been located safely. Thanks to all those who shared this information in an attempt to help locate her.

Kingston Police have released the above photo and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing youth, Mya Hartwick, 14 years of age.
Kingston Police say Hartwick was last seen on the evening of Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at several residences on Rideau Street.
Mya Hartwick is described as 5’1” tall, weighing 110 lbs, with long dark brown hair which has been dyed red. According to police, there are no clothing descriptors at this time.
