Kingston Police seek assistance to identify suspects after recreational vehicles stolen in west end

Kingston Police have released the above images and are asking for help to identify the two suspects or learn the whereabouts of recreational vehicles stolen from a business in the west end.

According to a release from Kingston Police, at approximately 10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, a theft of three recreational vehicles occurred at Cartronics, located on O’Connor Drive in Kingston.

“Two suspects were captured on security video breaking into the main compound of the business. They then proceeded to steal two snowmobiles and a side-by-side recreational vehicle,” police said.

According to the release, the following items were stolen from Cartronics:

  • 2023 Backcountry Standard 600 ETEC Ski-Doo, black in colour; Serial # 2BPSUJPA1PV000114
  • 2024 Renegade Adrenaline Ski-Doo, black in colour; Serial # 2PBSMBRB9RV000313
  • 2024 Defender Limited CAB Can-Am side-by-side, fiery red in colour; Serial # 3JBUVAX47RK012656

The total theft value of these three recreational vehicles is reported to be approximately $80,000.

Police described the two suspects as follows:

  • The first suspect appeared to be a Caucasian male who was wearing a black coat, black pants, a brown backpack, black boots, a black toque, and a blue medical mask.
  • The second suspect appeared to be a Caucasian male who was wearing a brown/green camo coat, black pants, and red/black gloves.
