Kingston Police seek assistance identifying pickup truck thieves
Kingston Police have released the above photos and are asking for public assistance in identifying the two individuals pictured, a man and a woman, who are suspected of stealing a pickup truck earlier this month.
According to police, the pickup truck was stolen from a commercial business on John Counter Boulevard at approximately 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 6, 2021. The stolen truck is described as a white 2015 GMC Sierra ¾ ton pickup truck with a red plow attached at the front. The stolen truck bore Ontario licence plate #AJ50704, Kingston Police said in a press release on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021.
The first suspect is described as a Caucasian woman with a medium build and light brown hair. She was wearing a beige tank top, blue jeans with tears on each leg, black sunglasses, a black backpack, and dark sandals with white socks at the time of the incident.
The second suspect is described as a Caucasian male with a slim build and either very short hair or a shaved head. He was wearing a white baseball cap with a black brim, which police noted still had the manufacturer’s sticker on the top of the brim and writing on the back above the black backstrap. He was also wearing a black t-shirt at the time of the incident.
