Update (Tuesday, Apr. 14, 2020): According to Kingston Police, Stephen Kent has been located safely.
On Monday, Apr. 13, 2020, Kent was located at approximately 4:30 p.m. by a new recruit with Kingston Police. The new recruit had previous experience working with the local police as a Special Constable, and was attending a residence on Conacher Drive for an unrelated incident. While at the residence, the officer immediately recognized Kent, verified his well-being, and removed him from CPIC as missing. Kent was advised to follow-up with his care worker to ensure his long-term health and well-being.
Kingston Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 63-year-old Stephen Kent, who was last seen by a care worker on April 4, 2020.
Kingston Police say that Kent’s friends are concerned as he requires daily medication that he has not been receiving for over a week. He is believed to also have ties to the Belleville and Trenton areas.
Kent is described as Caucasian, 5’10” in height, 190 pounds in weight, with short brown hair and a moustache.
