Kingston Police request public assistance to locate wanted man

Kingston Police have released the above photo and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Maurice Heptbourne, 32, who is wanted on outstanding charges.

According to police, Heptbourne has a number of outstanding charges, including those for offences involving firearms, domestic assault, robbery, and mischief.

Heptbourne is described as standing 5’8” with a medium build, short black hair, and a partial beard.

“Police are advising these charges stem from an isolated incident, however, Heptbourne is considered armed and dangerous, and police are advising citizens to not approach him,” Kingston Police said in a press release on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

“If Heptbourne is believed to be seen please do not approach him and immediately call Kingston Police at 9-1-1 with any further descriptors, location, and last known direction of travel.”

Non-emergency tips or any information that could lead to Heptbourne’s whereabouts and arrest can also be provided anonymously by calling the Kingston Police general number (613-549-4660 ext. 0) and asking to remain anonymous.
