Update: Located – Kingston Police request public assistance to locate missing person

Update (Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023, at 3:40 p.m.):
Sam Filianore, a 33-year-old reported missing earlier in the day, has been located safely, according to police.
According to Constable Anthony Colangeli, Media Relations Officer for Kingston Police, Filianore, who had last been seen at the entrance to the K&P Trail on Binnington Court, was located within Kingston. Police had combed the area where the 33-year-old was last seen this morning, employing four-wheel all-terrain vehicles (ATV) and setting up a command station in the parking lot for trail users off of Dalton Avenue.

“The Kingston Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter,” Colangeli said in a press release just before 3:30 p.m.

Local police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person, 33-year-old Sam Filianore.
On Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023, Kingston Police issued the request for public assistance in a press release, noting that Filianore was last seen the same day in the area of the K&P trail entrance on Binnington Court. While current whereabouts are unknown, it is believed Filianore may still be in the area of the K&P Trail, police said.

Filianore is described by police as being Caucasian, standing 5’11” (183 cm) tall, and weighing 190 lbs (86.2 kg), with black, buzz-cut-style hair. Filianore was last seen wearing beige pants, a black sweater with no sleeves, and a wide-brimmed hat, and was carrying a black and green backpack with a baseball cap attached to it.
“Furthermore, Filianore has tattoos on their hands and arms and was last seen wearing earrings and lipstick,” Kingston Police said.
