Kingston Police request public assistance in Halloween assault investigation

Detectives with the Kinston Police Criminal Investigations Division are currently investigating a serious assault that occurred early on Halloween day and have requested public assistance to identify the male suspect involve.

 According to police, the incident took place on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at approximately 1:30 a.m., and initially began inside an unspecified establishment at the corner of Division and Princess Streets. After moving outside to a parking lot, the fight escalated, and one male assaulted another male causing significant injuries. The suspect in the assault has not been identified or arrested, Kingston Police said.

Through their investigation, Kingston Police were able to obtain images of the assault, which were released to the media on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021.
