Kingston Police have released the above video and are asking the public for assistance in identify the suspects in a break and enter caught on video.
The incident took place on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at approximately 4:19 a.m. Two suspects broke into the south side doors to the Invista Centre, and then proceeded to smash into an ATM located inside, according to Kingston Police. The suspects used a sledge hammer and a pry bar, and successfully broke into the machine, resulting in a loss of cash, and heavy damage to the machine itself.
While the video itself is stamped with the time 5:19 a.m., the actual time of the incident was 4:19 a.m.
“Police are asking for the public’s assistance in helping to identify these suspects based on their clothing and mannerisms,” Kingston Police said in a press release on Friday, Mar. 1, 2019.

The incident is similar to a break-and-enter reported by OPP on the same night, 2 hours earlier. In that incident, OPP say that shortly after 2:00 A.M., an alarm call was reported at a pharmacy on Centre Street North in Napanee. The culprit or culprits had fled by the time officers arrived.
An automated bank machine in the store had been tampered with, but no money was taken and nothing else in the drug store had been disturbed. No surveillance was available from that incident.

While similar, it is not known whether the two incidents are related.
