Kingston Police request assistance to identify robbery suspect

Kingston Police have released the above images and are asking for public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery in the city’s north end.

The robbery occurred on Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 when, at approximately 9:20 p.m., a lone male suspected entered a convenience store in the north end. Brandishing a knife, the suspect demanded money from the store clerk, and fled on foot. The suspect was last seen running up a foot path to Dauphin Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white male in 40s, standing approximately 5’6” tall. He was wearing a black balaclava, a black leather jacket, black pants, and blue/grey gloves. The suspect was carrying a black backpack and appears to have been wearing costume glasses with a fake nose attached, Kingston Police said in a press release on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019.
