Kingston Police request assistance to identify assault suspect

Kingston Police have released the above photo and are asking for public assistance to identify the man pictured, the suspect in an assault case that occurred in early March.

According to police, at approximately 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 7, 2023, officers were called to the east end of Kingston to respond to an assault. The assault occurred at the victim’s residence, however, the suspect fled prior to police arriving. While the suspect is known to the victim, police would still like to confirm the identity of the suspect.

In response to inquiries from Kingstonist, police indicated that they could not share information on the injuries sustained by the victim, however, they did say that no weapon was used in the assault, and the victim did not require treatment in hospital.

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, who was wearing a blue shirt, white shoes, blue jeans, a blue jacket, and a black baseball cap at the time of the incident.
