Update – located: Kingston Police request assistance in locating missing person

After asking to public assistance to locate a mission person earlier today, Kingston Police stated that the person has been located.

“The Kingston Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter. The missing individual was located safely within the City of Kingston.” Kingston Police relayed.

Kingston Police have released the above photo and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the person pictured, a 22-year-old missing from Kingston.

In a press release on Tuesday, Apr. 9, 2024, Police said Sabina Monea, who is known to go by the name ‘Jo,’ has been missing since Friday, Apr. 5, 2024, and was last seen in the area of Victoria Park (which is bounded by Mack Street to the north, Alfred Street to the east, Brock Street to the south, and Albert Street to the west).

“Sabina is known to frequent shelters in the Kingston area,” police said.

Police described Sabina as being Caucasian, standing approximately 5’6” (168 cm) tall and weighing approximately 125 lbs (57 kg), with a slim build, brown eyes, and shoulder-length brown hair cut in “a mullet.”

“Sabina was last seen wearing a white jacket, black leggings, and a pink hooded sweater,” Kingston Police shared.
