Kingston Police request assistance in downtown stabbing investigation




Kingston Police have released the above images and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the two males shown, who are suspects in a stabbing investigation.
According to police, the stabbing occurred in Kingston’s downtown core overnight during St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Specifically, the incident took place in an alleyway near the intersection of Brock and Division Streets on Friday, Mar. 18, 2022, “sometime after 1 a.m.,” Kingston Police said in a press release on Wednesday, Mar. 23, 2022. Police had not released information regarding the stabbing incident prior to March 23.
“The stabbing was not random and occurred after the male had a verbal confrontation with the suspects,” Kingston Police said, noting that the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at hospital.
The suspects are described as a Caucasian male approximately 6’3″ tall, and a Black male approximately 6’1″ tall. Both suspects are approximately 20 to 30 years of age, police said.
