Kingston Police release further information on double homicide suspect


New images and video footage have been released by Kingston Police as they continue to investigate a double homicide which took place near Sydenham Road in October 2021.
According to a media release, with help from members of the public, the Kingston Police Major Crime Unit has recently obtained additional video footage of a male being named as a suspect in the murders of Nico Soubliere and Carl Alen Delphin.
In the video, the male can be seen attempting to conceal his identity by overdressing and is believed to go by the street name ‘Sophia,’ Kingston Police stated.
“It is believed that the parties were familiar with each other prior to that day and that the parking lot on Sydenham Road, where the murders occurred, was intended to be the site of a drug transaction,” police said.
In June 2022, Kingston Police provided the following details about the suspect:
- A Black male aged 25 to 40 years of age
- At least 6’2” tall and weighing approximately 275 lbs
- Not a resident of Kingston
