Kingston Police names new chief

Antje McNeely has been chosen as Kingston Police’s new Chief, announced the Kingston Police Services Board at a press conference on the morning of Thursday, September 6th.

McNeely takes the top spot at Kingston Police after being in the Deputy Chief position since 2011 and with Kingston Police for over 30 years. She will be Kingston Police’s 17th Chief.

McNeely replaces Chief Gilles LaRochelle, who announced his retirement in July after a four-decades-long policing career.
